Description

Vinylmagnesium bromide, also known as Grignard reagent, is the abbreviation of Grignard reagent, named after the discoverer V.A.Grginard. Its properties are very active, and it is easy to react with water, carbon dioxide, alcohol Chemicalbook, aldehydes, ketones, esters, amines and epoxy compounds to generate various types of organic compounds, and the yield is generally high. It is prepared by the effect of water in ether solution. Vinylmagnesium bromide is an intermediate for the synthesis of protoporphyrin IX dimethyl ester-d6 (P839127), which is a labeled version of protoporphyrin IXP (P838900). Protoporphyrin IX (PPIX) as a precursor of heme is ubiquitous in all living cells, and PPIX-based strategies have been used in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. It can be used for biological research of protoporphyrin IX in human skin photosensitivity, gallstones, hepatobiliary injury, liver failure, and diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
