Description

Often used together with antimony flame retardants, widely used in soft PVC, polyethylene, polystyrene, etc. Chlorinated paraffin is an odorless, non-toxic, flame-retardant and low-volatile viscous liquid with low volatility and good electrical insulation, insoluble in water, ethyl alcohol, ethylene glycol and glycerin, soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and its chlorides, etc. It can be used as a plasticizer for PVC, an additive for rubber, coatings and inks, an additive for machining lubricants, and a flame retardant for plastics and rubber.
