Description

Fenone, also known as anisone, is derived from the oxidation of alpha pinene and has a rusty smell of iron, mainly from sweet fennel essential oil. Natural anisone is non-toxic and is used in food additives. Fenone is a single-stick compound of ketones, which is colorless or light yellow oily liquid, accompanied by strong fruity, green Chemicalbook and woody aromas. Has a sweet aroma of flowers and fruits. Extremely insoluble in water, insoluble in propylene glycol, soluble in ethanol and non-volatile oil. It can be used as food spice (GB2760-1996), mainly used to prepare mulberry, cherry, grape, tropical fruit and other fruity flavors.
