Shenyang photosensitive Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd. is a scientific research institute directly under the former Ministry of Chemical Industry. In 1968, Shenyang Chemical Research Institute established the specialty of photosensitive materials. In 1987, the specialty of photosensitive materials was separated from Shenyang Institute of Chemical Industry and became Shenyang Institute of Photosensitive Chemical Industry. The institute has been engaged in the research of photosensitive materials for nearly 50 years, and has made brilliant achievements in the research and development and production of sensitizing dyes, color couplers and various additives. The institute has developed nearly one thousand kinds of photographic organic substances and has become the largest enterprise in the research and development and production of photographic chemicals in China, and has made outstanding contributions to the development of color silver salt photosensitive materials and national photosensitive industry. The institute has undertaken nearly 80 national key research projects, torch plan projects, "863" projects, innovation fund projects, support program projects, special funding projects for scientific research institutes, and provincial and municipal plan projects, and has won 46 awards of various kinds.
