According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the market price of bulk vinyl cyanide was 10,020 RMB/ton as of December 9, down 4.57% from 10,500 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month. Since December, the manufacturer's listing price has been gradually lowered, and the merchant's offer has declined. On the 9th, the self lifting price of the vinyl cyanide market was 9,300~10,200 RMB/ton.


  Analysis review


  Since December, the pressure on domestic vinyl cyanide supply has continued to increase. After the new domestic capacity was put into production in the fourth quarter, the industry operating rate in early December still rose to around 80%, and the supply of vinyl cyanide industry increased as a whole.


  Since December, the raw propylene market has declined slightly, and the cost of vinyl cyanide has declined slightly. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of December 9, the domestic propylene price was 7,434 RMB/ton, down 3.33% from the price of 7,690 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month. The international crude oil price fell sharply recently. In addition, the polypropylene shipment was light. The propylene market s weakened and the price fell.


  In the near future, the ABS market in the downstream of vinyl cyanide has temporarily stabilized at a low level, accumulating a small amount of stock, and the demand for vinyl cyanide has declined slightly; The operating rate of acrylic fiber, butyronitrile and other enterprises was basically stable, which was just needed support for the starting of vinyl cyanide.


  Market outlook


  Vinyl cyanide analysts from SunSirs believe that the cost of vinyl cyanide decreased slightly, the downstream stock was not active, and the supply side pressure rebounded. It is expected that the vinyl cyanide market will continue to fall back slightly in the later period.
