Description

1,2-dibromoethane, the chemical formula is BRCH2CH2BR, is a kind of compound. It is a colorless liquid with a fragrance that can be observed when its concentration reaches 10ppm. The main source is synthetic, but there are also traces of 1,2-two bromide, which may be made from algae and kelp in the sea. This is also a widely used and sometimes controversial fumigation agent.
