Description

Perchloric acid, also known as perchloric acid, is a strong acid with a chemical formula of HClO4, which is highly corrosive and irritating, and usually exists in the form of a colorless aqueous solution. The anhydride of perchloric acid is Cl2O7. Perchloric acid is stronger than sulfuric acid and nitric acid. Hot perchloric acid is a very strong oxidant, and it may cause combustion and explosion when it contacts or mixes with organic substances, reducing agents, and combustibles (such as sulfur, phosphorus, etc.), but at room temperature, high chlorine concentration below 70% acid is relatively stable.
